"I will sing to the Lord as long as I live, I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."

Psalms 104:33

It is the primary purpose of the Music Curriculum to help students learn the fundamentals of music, especially for praising God. Students grow to understand that God created music for worship, edification, and for personal enjoyment. They are exposed to music history and great musicians so that they learn to appreciate a variety of music from other cultures and times. Students learn to make wise choices in music, realizing that not all music is acceptable. Opportunities are provided throughout the year for all grades to use their God-given musical talents for His glory through performances.
